Editorial standards
Evidence earns its place here.
A clear standard for the information you read and the claims you report.
How this site handles claims.
We distinguish a verifiable product statement from opinion and advertising puffery. We look for the original ad, the exact words used, surrounding context, and primary evidence such as manufacturer specifications or an official product manual. A disagreement alone does not prove deception.
Sources and updates.
FTC guidance and official platform help pages are preferred for reporting instructions. Menus, policies, and deadlines can change; links point to current official resources so readers can verify the live process. Site copy is reviewed when changes are identified.
Corrections.
If a page gets a fact or reporting path wrong, include the page URL, what needs correction, and a source. Until a contact address is published, you can independently verify through the linked official source. A public correction channel will be added when the owner provides a monitored inbox; no unmonitored address is listed here.
We do not publish accusations against named individuals based on viewer submissions. This guide asks people to report verifiable conduct through the appropriate official channels.
