What makes a strong report
Write down the exact claim, explain the mismatch, link the original post or listing, and cite the source you used to check it. Avoid assuming intent or claiming a sponsorship without evidence.
Platform guide
A seller’s listing, a creator’s pitch, and an order can require separate actions.
Save the full post or ad, its URL, username, caption, date, product page, price, and any disclosure. Record the exact claim and compare it with a primary source such as the maker’s own specification page. Keep a copy of what you submit.
Save the product page, seller name, specifications, checkout price, and the promotional video that sent you there. On the listing, look for the share or more-options control and a reporting or feedback option. If you bought it, open your order in TikTok Shop and use the available refund, return, or support path within its stated deadline.
If a creator made an inaccurate claim in a separate video, report that video too. Ask the seller to resolve a product that was not as described; keep the messages and order confirmation.
